New Dawn Bichons is a family orientated Bichon Frise breeding business, run by I  and my wife and our 3 kids. Our aim is to breed for health and temperament first and foremost, followed by the highly desirable look of the Bichon Frise. We work hard to ensure our breeding program is 1st class, so if you’re looking for a perfect companion with a fantastic personality you’ve come to the right place. Our goal is to provide beautiful, healthy, well-balanced and friendly puppies with an excellent temperament. Bichon Frise Puppies For Sale.

We are one of the few breeders in the USA who are fully using the BVA health screening schemes on all of our dogs. Only when we have had eyes, hips and elbows tested will we contemplate allowing a dog to become one of our parents. We also use Embark genetic testing to screen for over 160 genetic diseases. Health test results are available to all prospective puppy owners. If our dogs fail health testing for any reason they will stay with us as our pets as they are very much a part of our family.

In our home, we use our dogs to teach our kids about responsibility. As our pups grow, each of them are assigned under the care of our kids. This helps them become much more closer since they all have a common interest and love for the pups. It is always amazing watching them play with the puppies.  Click the button below and choose your new family member. Bichon Frise Puppies For Sale.

The Bichon family is a group of white breeds found originally in the Mediterranean Countries. The word Bichon means white dog and the Bichon breeds are predominately white with the exception of the Havanese which can be found in a wide variety of colors. The word ‘frise’ describes the soft corkscrew curls of the coat. Although the Standard suggests that the coat on feet and muzzle may be tidied up, the presentation of the Bichon for the show ring has become much more stylised.

Although France was the country of development for the breed, the Bichon Frise is thought to have existed on the island of Tenerife as far back as the 14th century and was taken to mainland Europe by traders where he gained popularity, especially in the Royal Courts and in the homes of nobility, where he was often pampered and carried around in an ornamental basket.

I have always been a breeder, from growing up on a farm in where we bred Horses, goats & cattle for livestock to graduating from Kirkwood as a Vet Tech. My turning point to focus on breeding is when I met my wife, then a pet groomer & Sitter it’s like we were almost destined for each other. I was always the busy type, everyday schedule from farm to farm, to Vet lab examinations, animal checkups. After My wife gave birth to our 2nd daughter she had Postpartum psychosis and I had to be there for her and our babies. We got a certified Therapy dog Bichon Frise to help with her treatment and after a month of treatment she was feeling better being herself again. It united our family, brought us so much healing and love. That’s when I took the decision I wanted this feeling to continue. I quit my job, moved out to the countryside, and bought a 14 Acre Ranch, it’s been all love and happiness since then. Our dogs are like an extension of us, they are our families & we want you to feel the same way we feel about them when you get yours. Do not hesitate to contact us and get family and life companion.

We think we have a real winner with this dog. Barry’s sister knows a lot about dogs – used to raise and run sled dogs and she is very impressed with her temperament and personality. I am so happy that I spent so much time and effort to find the right breeder and the right puppy. Thank you for bringing her into our lives.

Kimberly Thigpen (San Jose, CA)

Great experience brought our puppy home she has slept through the night the very first night , I have never had a puppy do that. She hasn't had any accidents in the house she even went to the patio door the second day as if she was saying ok It's time to go out. Smart, mellow, and the sweetest thing ever.
